-In this step you can assign home page as a front page.

Go to Pages -> Add New -> Create a page named Home (name is not so important )
Publish the Page.
Go to setting -> Reading-> Static Front Page
Select  A static page
Under  homepage, select Home (or whatever you named your frontpage).
